Next time I would sing along all day.

Hey there! I'm a theater student who's currently enjoying her life pretty much (:

Sometimes I feel as if my life is like looking through a kaleidoscope: amazing and colorful, changing, as long as you take your time turning it.

Books are liked best with a cup of coffee: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Sophie's World, Isola, Mila18, Lucian, The Fault In Our Stars...sometimes I even write myself.

Since English is not my first language mistakes will be made but I want to reach as many people as possible on here. Some things might be only in German though.

I consider myself a very peaceful person. Everything becomes too loud for me very quickly, I hate shouting and I am really bad at arguing if I don't have a day to think about my arguments.

Nevertheless I love concerts and music (listening or playing myself), movies and traveling (the further the better, preferably mountains and rocky coast). I am all at sea, half German, half Austrian, full hearted Portlander.

I love film as well as theater. Musicals open up my heart and American tv-series are sometimes simply good for my soul. Though we might not be Hollywood or the Broadway I am a proud defender and presenter of a pretty amazing European film/theater culture.

My sisters are my biggest fans while I am their personal woo-girl. We're glad our brother's among as well : he prevented us from being princesses while we made him the most amazing prince on earth.
That's me - ask anything you want!

That’s where she is. Because of poetry.

Writing letters to friends and end up texting them via whatsapp, confessing you lost their last letter in some of your books and don’t have their address anymore…

…only to find the stupid letter 5 minutes later after deciding to read ‘just 2 pages’ of Chekhov’s ‘The Seagull’ - again.

Knowing your sister was using your computer when tumblr is THIS LARGE!

Though I am always shouting for more prominence and attention for German filmmakers I am impressed by the young international guests this year:
Léa Seydoux and Saoirse Ronan?! That’s amazing.

Andere Hände - Other Hands

A letter of a mother who gave up her baby anonymously turned into music by wonderful Germany singer-songwriter Alin Coen.

Parenthood is gonna kill me one day.

  • Me: hi.
  • Woman: hi.
  • My friend: hello.
  • After the play
  • My friend: who was that girl we greeted before?
  • Me: My professor.
  • My friend: that was your professor?
  • Me: yep.
  • My friend: wow, she is young.
  • Me: told you so.
  • My friend: you said young but not THAT young.
  • Me: hi
  • Woman: hi.
  • after the play
  • My mum: who was that girl you said hi to?
  • Me: My professor.
  • Mum: That young thing was your professor?
  • Me: I told you she was young.
  • Mum: yeah, but that young?

I am glad to have learned in Ghana how death can be seen as a celebration. Still, I am truly sad.
